Ballet (ages 4 & up)

We encourage all students to learn ballet skills. Ballet is the base for all dance technique. Students will build strong, flexible muscles and improve their sense of self. Teaching involves the established knowledge of the Cecchetti and Vaganova syllabus’.

This class is upbeat and full of fun.The strength and flexibility of all dancers will improve. Jazz has some similarities to ballet. However dancers learn to move in a turn-out and parallel position.

This class has a strong ballet influence.We explore movement in its many diverse styles.A student’s interpretive skills will grow.Learning the dynamics of dance performance is part of this curriculum.

Your child will thrive in this popular class. The creative atmosphere stimulates children’s imaginations. It allows them to excel. A child will discover the style of dance that suits their personality.
In this class we develop…

• basic intro to ballet
• exposure to dance class etiquette

In this unique class, students learn about the cultural dances of Scotland.
Their skills will include various Reels and Jigs.The iconic Highland Sword Dances are also taught


Hip Hop
(ages 5 & up)

  • Junior (Grades 1, 2, 3)
  • Int.1 (Grades 4, 5, 6)
  • Int.2 (Grades 7, 8, High School)
  • Sr. (High School upon teacher approval)
Always a popular class!This dance style comes to us from many forms of urban street dance.Upbeat music inspires students to learn all the latest moves.
Although ‘fun’ is key for this class, students will also…

Tap, the ever wonderful world of noise making! This class teaches children rhythms of music and the diverse ways our feet can make music.
